Railway Traffic Resumes Following Propane Tank Leak

The Wilmington Fire Department Incident Commander, Battalion Chief Anthony Goode, has reported that air sampling within the Amtrak yards has determined that the propane leak is not affecting the areas where rail traffic was halted. Therefore, Amtrak has restored all railway traffic at this time.
Wilmington Fire Department operations are continuing within the Amtrak facility to bring this situation to a final and safe conclusion. No firefighter or civilian injuries have been reported at this time.
